Deeply involved in the community, Dr. Grimes serves as President of the Hanover Dental Society and sits on the boards of the Hanover Area YMCA and Hanover Rotary. He regularly volunteers his skills at Hanover General Hospital. A lifelong soccer enthusiast, he spent many years coaching youth teams and now stays active playing in local adult leagues.

Dr. Safran blends leading-edge technology with a patient-first approach to make treatment faster, more comfortable, and highly precise. He uses 3-D CBCT scans and surgical guides to plan and place implants, and digital scanners to craft crowns and bridges without messy impressions.

Commitment to Growth

An active member of a Spear Study Club, Dr. Safran completes extensive continuing education each year to stay current on new materials, software, and minimally invasive techniques.

Outside the Office

Originally from Bucks County, Dr. Safran and his wife, Elisa, now call Hanover home and enjoy exploring all it has to offer. In his spare time he plays pickleball, samples local restaurants, and keeps up with the latest advances in digital workflow. He looks forward to serving Hanover, Gettysburg, York, and nearby communities for many years to come.
