Dr. John Grimes

Dr. Grimes, a proud alumnus of the University of Maryland, completed his dental education in 1993 and further honed his skills through a residency in Advanced General Dentistry. Since 1994, he has been a valued member of the Hanover community, providing exemplary dental care to his patients. His dedication to dentistry extends beyond his practice, as evidenced by his role as President of the Hanover Dental Society. Dr. Grimes remains actively engaged in professional development as a member of both the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association. Beyond his professional commitments, Dr. Grimes is deeply involved in community service. He serves on the board of directors for the Hanover Area YMCA and Hanover Rotary, where he contributes to the betterment of the community. An ardent supporter of sports, Dr. Grimes shares his passion for soccer both as a player and coach. In addition to his community involvement, Dr. Grimes dedicates his skills as a Staff dentist at Hanover General Hospital and Homewood at Plum Creek, ensuring access to quality dental care for all. Dr. Grimes exemplifies a commitment to both professional excellence and community betterment, making him an invaluable asset to Hanover and beyond.

Dr. Max Safran

Dr. Max Safran hails from Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where he spent his formative years before embarking on his academic journey. Graduating from Muhlenberg College with a dual degree in Chemistry and Economics laid the foundation for his pursuit of excellence. His passion for oral health led him to Temple University School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine.Dedicated to providing top-tier care, Dr. Safran places a strong emphasis on compassion and patient comfort. He believes in empowering his patients through informed decision-making, ensuring they feel at ease and in control throughout their dental experience. Building lasting relationships built on trust and loyalty is a cornerstone of his practice philosophy. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Safran finds joy in various pursuits. Whether delving into a good book, hitting the cycling trails, or exploring culinary delights, he values the balance between work and leisure. Although new to the area, Dr. Safran looks forward to putting down roots and becoming an integral part of the vibrant Hanover community.
